Louis Vuitton lists the Keepall 55 at 55 × 25 × 28 cm, constructed from Monogram coated canvas with natural cowhide leather trim, cotton textile lining, gold-colour brass hardware, double zip closure, double rolled handles, removable leather ID holder and padlock. 

The Keepall is one of Louis Vuitton’s defining pieces of travel design. The House traces the silhouette to 1930, describing the bag as lightweight and supple with generous packing capacity. 

This bag has the classic soft-sided Monogram body, natural Vachetta leather reinforcing bands, rounded top handles and luggage tag associated with the standard Keepall. The natural leather is particularly important to the pre-loved look: unlike coated canvas, untreated Vachetta develops colour and patina through age, handling and exposure, making older examples visually individual.
